Daniel and Martin got themselves a dog — a Hungarian Vizsla.
Google says: Quote Hungarian Vizslas are loyal, lively and loving dogs, earning the nickname 'Velcro dogs' because they like to be near their owners. They have plenty of energy and love to be outdoors, so make perfect companions to those who have active lifestyles. Unquote
I was a regular visitor to their house in north London, and got to spend a bit of time with Frank, so I can testify to his being a Velcro dog.
One day, Frank and I were out in the patio when some noise emanated from the next door house, so we went to explore, getting up from where we were sitting.
As we stood there looking into the neighbour’s garden to try and find the source of the noise, Frank stood not just next to me but actually with his whole body plastered against my leg — and with one paw on my foot, for extra security. Haha, couldn’t be more Velcro than that.
